I actually enjoyed school today. Last semester sucked. And I say I'm enjoying this one, but still say that hesitantly.
Had some Chinese with Wes and Noah. Went to work for 3 hours. And then hung out with Noah all night.
We wanted to see a band at O'Bryan's but the place was packed. So we just got Wendy's and walked around downtown again. Speaking of every ridiculous relationship we've ever experienced and how the lack of our current ones is just an irritating trick the deck of life has dealt us.
Women are deadly creatures. asthma5150 on Flickr: Posted a Photo
"All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces... Bright and early for their daily races, going nowhere, going nowhere... And their tears are filling up their glasses, no expression, no expression... Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow, no tomorrow, no tomorrow... And I find it kind of funny, I find it kind of sad. The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had. I find it hard to tell you cause I find it hard to take. When people run in circles it's a very, very mad world..."
I went to O'Bryan's with Noah today. Had Guiness Stew (again) and some pub chips. Wanted to get some cheesecake but the waitress only came by about every 15 minutes and didn't seem to care what we did. She was nice though. We still tipped her. I took Noah's piece of bread he hadn't touched and put it in my shirt pocket. Then we went walkin around Tapawingo as usual. Even though Red Hot Chili Peppers always come to mind when we walk under the bridge downtown, we seem to end up singing "Mad World" just about everytime we go here. I think it's because everything looks so dead in the snow down here and all the chaos of the city is up on this hill. Just another day listenin to celtic bands and makin fun of Bob Dylan.
Last night work went pretty alright. We ended up getting the stand cleaned before 11. But around 10:30, Casey informed me and Jake that all the stock in the back room (about 100 boxes) needed to be taken upstairs and rotated. Although I had help from Jake, who left at 11:30 for his ride, and Vetor who was trying to close downstairs, I was there until 1:30 the next morning. I actually had a conversation with Vetor for the first time though. He's an alright guy. mightyquinninwky©™ on Flickr: Posted a Photo
